Rite Aid recently filed for Chapter 11 in an effort to restructure existing debt which has ballooned as a result of rising rates. Due to this, Rite Aid has either closed down existing stores or restructured existing leases for the stores that are performing. This Rite Aid in Greenville, PA has had the good fortune of being one of the locations where the tenant has chosen to continue operations under an amended lease. The amended terms provided a new owner the security of having Rite Aid Corp on the lease for a guaranteed term of five years ending December 31, 2028. The options and the increases have remained unchanged.
